Cyclamen candlestick in the shape of a lotus flower for a tea light. Cyclamen is a pink-purple color. Pink is a symbol of love, beauty and healing, it is a talisman of love and partnerships. The lotus flower symbolizes the change of darkness into light, the change of ignorance into knowledge. The candlestick is made of oyster shells (placuna placenta), also known as capiz shells after the place where the oysters are collected, i.e. around the city of Panay, Capiz province in the Philippines. After cleaning, the shells are naturally translucent and then dyed, allowing for a beautiful interplay of colors and light.
