Instructions: Light the wood and once a flame appears, blow it out so that it only smolders. Never leave smoldering wood unattended while burning. Store in a dry, cool place and out of reach of children.

Using a smoking bundle: light the bundle at one end and immediately blow out the flame so that the herbs only smolder. Place the bundle, for example, on an abalone shell bowl or place it either in a special bowl for smoking bundles or any deeper container (depending on the length of the bundle) filled with sand. If you want to stop smoking, put the smoldering end in the sand. You can reuse the bundle. You can walk around the rooms you want to scent with the smoldering bundle.
