Fir - forest freshness for body and soul
BREATHING – RELAXATION – OVERALL REFRESHMENT
Silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) is a sturdy conifer, the only representative of the fir genus in Central Europe. It grows in mountain or foothill forests, and together with beech it forms rare beech-fir forests.
The needles and terminal twigs yield an essential oil with a sweet, balsamic, forest scent. It is used to support breathing, refresh a tired mind, for relaxation and meditation, and to create an overall harmonious atmosphere. It is suitable for use in aroma lamps and aroma diffusers, inhalation mixtures, baths, and saunas.
In aromatherapy it is used for:
- improves breathing during colds and bronchitis, creates an atmosphere and fresh scent of the forest.

You need 1 drop each of the following essential oils:

Additionally, you can add lavender essential oil.
Bring about 0.5 l of water to a boil, pour it into a ceramic, glass or plastic bowl.
Add essential oils.
Stand over the bowl at a height where you are comfortable breathing the steam, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and breathe slowly through your nose and mouth.
Inhale for at least 5 minutes, then rest for 10 minutes.
Warning: the mixture is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
Essential oils are used exclusively externally; they must always be diluted on the skin, e.g. in olive, sunflower, jojoba or other oil.
