What is rhodium plating of silver?
Rhodium plating is the process of coating silver with a thin layer of rhodium, a precious and highly durable platinum group metal. This process is performed by electroplating, in which the piece of jewelry is immersed in a rhodium solution and an electric current is used to create a thin but strong layer on its surface.
