In folk tradition, tawny is considered an excellent stone against depression and other negative emotions, which is said to help reduce stress, suppress fear and give strength in decision-making. It is also used as an amulet, because it is known as a protective stone in many cultures, it is said to promote detoxification, suppress nightmares, increase concentration and help with communication difficulties.
