In folk tradition, pyrite is a stone that is said to energize the mind, protect on all levels, and harmonize emotional imbalance. It is said that pyrite relieves anxiety, teaches diplomacy, increases the flow of new ideas, helps with planning, and harmonizes emotional imbalance. It is also said to increase self-confidence and help people in subordinate positions realize their own worth. It is traditionally a stone that is said to relieve anxiety, disappointment, and melancholy. As a talisman, it is suitable for mental work.

Detailed description of the stone: pyrite

Magnetite is a chemical compound of ferrous iron oxide, and is called magnetite in Czech. Interestingly, it has been known under other names since 1548. It was named in 1845 by Wilhelm Karl von Haidinger (1795 - 1871), an Austrian mineralogist, geologist, physicist and optician, after the locality of Magnesia in Greece.
