Larimar pendant silver Ag 925 KO106

A charming pendant made of silver with a beautiful and high-quality cabochon of rare larimar, which resembles the play of sunlight on the surface of the sea, and aquamarine. The jewelry is handmade, the larimar is carefully selected with a distinct blue color. Ag 925. You are purchasing the jewelry pictured directly.

Larimar, also known as the "dolphin stone", is one of the rarest semi-precious stones in the world . This is due to the fact that there is only one deposit of this unique blue variety of pectolite in the world. Larimar is mined only in the Caribbean in a very small mountainous area of the island of Hispaniola, about 5 km from Rio Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.

Another name for Larimar is the stone of Atlantis . According to the famous prophet Edgar Cayce, the Dominican Republic is the remnant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Interestingly, it was Cayce who predicted the discovery of a new blue stone in the Caribbean, namely larimar, about 60 years ago.
