Lakshmi is the consort of the god Vishnu and one of the most popular goddesses in Hindu mythology. She is known as the goddess of wealth and purity. She is depicted as a beautiful woman with four arms, standing or sitting on a lotus flower. Sometimes one or two elephants stand behind her. She is often depicted sitting under the god Vishnu. She is a perfect creature - self-sufficient, she is a delightful divinity who makes life understandable and therefore worth living. She is energy - boundless and generous.
Sound massage using singing bowls is a great natural way to restore harmony to the body. Their calming properties can naturally bring peace to the soul and focus the mind. The vibrations and sound produced by singing bowls create a type of energy that works with the body in many ways and can produce several positive results, such as a deep sense of calm and reduced mental and emotional stress.
Using a singing bowl for physical relaxation
Singing bowls used in sound massage are usually designed for long-term use and focus more on vibrations than on the sound produced. Vibrating sound massage allows the body to achieve peace on both an internal and external level. Singing bowls of various weights and sizes are usually placed directly on the upper body, but can also be placed around the body.
The human body is made up of approximately 60% water. Water has a deep synergy with the vibrational patterns of the singing bowl tones, thus better connecting and transporting important elements in the body. Water is the body's own substance, therefore the vibrations of the singing bowl tones are completely natural and very pleasant for the body. Vibrational sound massages can allow these positive elements to flow freely in the body. In most cases, this type of therapy is reported to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, chronic fatigue and other similar conditions.
How to play the bowl?
Only wooden or suede-covered mallets are used to play bowls.
The suede-wrapped mallet produces a soft, resonant sound when struck against the edge of the bowl.
If you want to literally play the bowl, use a wooden mallet, not suede. Hold the bowl gently in your palm so that the bowl can vibrate. Start rolling the wooden mallet around the top edge or outer circumference of the bowl, maintaining even pressure. Gradually increase the speed of the rotation, and you will achieve a strong sound of the vibrating bowl. To start the bowl vibrating, you can tap it with a mallet. Whether you use the bowl for meditation or relaxation, it will affect you positively forever.
